Anna and Jason both attended Western University, however they met a few years after graduation through mutual social circles.
Anna came home one day to her passport and a series of numbered envelopes on the kitchen table. There were instructions to pack her carry-on luggage and be ready for a car to pick her up in one hour. From there, she ended up on a plane where Jason was waiting for her (with more luggage thankfully) but didn’t tell her where they were going until they arrived in Monaco. Jason proposed a day later.
Favourite wedding moments for Anna and Jason include spending those special moments alone with her dad minutes before walking down the aisle, enjoying a glass of champagne as newlyweds right after the ceremony and lastly wishing that the night wouldn’t end when both bride and groom glanced at the time and saw that it was 11:30 p.m.
As for their wedding details? The couple just loved the setting. “It was incredibly beautiful the way everything came together, and from the tent to the flowers and arbour that my dad built from birch wood for the ceremony, it was perfect,” says the bride.
